The way we mixed it was to pour in the soap flakes while stirring until
the gasoline would not soak up any more.
We used laundry soap flakes but they told us we could grate bar soap.
The cans we mixed in where around a foot high and just about as wide so
my guess is it was about 2 gallons of fuel and 3 gallons of flakes. I
remember it took a lot of soap.
Put it in containers right away or let it sit a bit and it carves like
thick Jello.
That was a good while ago and there are probably better and safer
methods. I would suggest you try to find a local Sapper/Genie.
Vegetable shortening and lard may work also but I have not tried them.
