All,

A report about CEDESOL activities titled "Lasting Impacts of a Solar Cooker
Project in Bolivia" by
Melanie Szulczewski, Ph. D., Solar Household Energy, Inc. (April 2006) is on
the www.bioenergylists.org site.

Thanks and congratulations to the Whitfields for their accomplishments in
promoting solar, retained heat, biomass and integrated cooking.

Tom

Hi Paul Anderson,
Glad to see you are up and about! How did it all go?

Stovers!
2 of our ETHOS team members arrived yesterday and today they started working
in the Sobre la Roca shop facilities, getting a taste for food cookers in
Ecological integrated cooking systems!

Before we even had housing arrangements finished they were eager to jump
into the action and have already begun building solar cookers with the SLR
crew. Clayton and Zach also got to taste chicken roasted in a solar cooker
rice cooked on the 2 burner rocket and then in a RT cooker as well as baked
potatoes and banana bread while we did a demo for 8 members of an
international NGO. A good time was had by all, and we are so pleased with
these young Americans.

CEDESOL's team along with SLR's will be very busy these days. One
technician just returned from delivering 2 100 liter pot institutional
stoves several hundred kilometers towards the central highlands of Bolivia.

With ETHO's help soon we will have pictures and activities posted through
Tom.

Abrazos
