Dear List,

Sorry! PM is particulate matter, the nasty stuff that gets into the lungs
and causes respiratory infections, etc. Kills 1.6 million folks per year
from breathing it in smoke. Also is bad for global warming, I guess.

just tell me waht do you mean with  PM"?

Charcoal emits a lot of CO but not much PM. The CO escapes because there
are few flames to burn it up. Flame makes PM so maybe for the same reason
there's low PM?

Should I send you my 15 page report I made on retort charcoal production in
kenya?
