[Stoves] Chinese Gasifier Stove

Tom & list,

Just to clarify a couple of points about the Chinese gasifier.

>From Peter's measurements - the fuel hopper will hold about 45 litres of
wood chips - about 11 kg.

I estimate that it will have a burn time of about 2 hours at full output.

If the air vent is shut and the blower fan turned off, the gasifier will
idle for up to 20 hours, at which point it can be restarted just by adding
more fuel and starting the blower fan.

The gas produced from 1 hopper should offset about 4.5 litres of diesel fuel
or veg oil in the Lister application.

The gas volume produced per hour and calorific values stated by the
manufacturer cover a wide range and only through specific testing can we
qualify these figures.

I hope that this is the start of an interesting new project.
