As soon as the thought of harvesting algae came into my mind, all the pond
algae vanished! But I'm sure there is some algae (well more than some) in
the pond water, just no floaters.

I have observed that after a rain the puddles had algae growing in them.
Some feeding off of cow dung run off (I think) and some feeding on dead
leaves (maybe). So this is where I collected my culture. It is now growing
in a clear 5-gallon (about) jug.

That's what I was planning on using outside but summer is now over. For in
doors I'm thinking of an aquarium (used).

OK

I was thinking of that myself! Clean-up gray water / pee and make fuel!
Maybe composted pooh? Maybe not!

Interesting!

Good advice!
