It's an inverted T-LUD.

It's basically a version of Tom Reed's 5-gallon bucket gasifier in the book 
titled "Air-Oxygen Stratified DowndraftGasifier". I can't think of a better 
gasifier to learn from. I stop by and measured it. About 26" high, 13.5" dia 
with a 4.75" fire-tube. I'm making it out of a discarded water-heater. How I 
insulate it and my grate is different.
