Dear Feri,
I received your message via the ARECOP secretariat. I am interested in
both of
your issues and have some possible solutions for consideration. Please
tell us
more about yourself and your projects. Are you in Cambodia or in the
Philippines or where?
I will be in Cambodia in November on another project that might have
links with
your needs. I am sending this message also to the "Stove List Serve" where
others might be able to comment, but please send copies to Feri unless you are
also subscribed to the ARECOP list serve.

Dear ARECOP Network Secretariat and Members,
1. Please help us find the technology on briquetting wood scraps from a
plywood
factory (see attached).
(Paul's reply):
My small gasifier project is interested in having the wood wastes as possible
fuels. I will need more information about sizes and quantities
and location(s). The pieces are actually a little larger than I would prefer,
but that can be accommodated. Making briquettes from sawdust is possible with
the methods pioneered by Richard Stanley. See his work at www.legacyfound.org
(Feri wrote):
2. Contact our Cambodian friends like San You and the man on biogas
for details
and information about their women-operated mobile machine used in the
processing
of jatropha into biodiesel.
(Paul's reply):
Does the process of getting jatropha oil result in any
agro/woody/waste? If so,
I could be interested in that waste also as a fuel.
Paul
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Best regards,
Feri
