I should have said "angle of repose". Not sure why I said reactivity, maybe 
the old timers called it that (I read too many old books).

It's an indication of how well particles will flow/feed.

Fill a tube with the particle and lift the tube up. Now you have a pile of 
particles on the table top. Next you can measure the angle of the slop.
