Tom

In addition to my just made posting, (answer to your question about amount
of fuel saving)

I ask myself if the normal boiling test is not misleading, when we intend to
save fuel by RHC (retained heat cooking), which works normally below the
boiling point.

I cannot understand, that - up to now- nobody gave a comment to Chris Adam's
proposal for stove testing:

Therein whole the temperature range, which is important for cooking, as well
for low-temperature cooking is considered.

I propose to take Chris's boiling test, as base, to discuss new stove
testing procedures especially under/for RHC conditions.

-If you need Chris's posting text, -gone with the old stoves-archives- I
have a copy. But I think it is his honour to be first asked about tha

The specialists are asked for their thoughts for a new test. And I mean at
first point persons of practice, not at least with practice of cooking
meals, and best with experience with RHC equipment/sorrows.
