I can see this in many circumstances and we must remain respectful of
the wishes and beliefs of the community when dealing with bereavement.
Where creed and custom accepts that cremation away from view is the
norm, and I live in the first town in UK to build a crematorium for
open and legal use in ~1935, then it can be made a largely self
sustaining process. Here funerals are done almost on a production line
basis and after the initial heat up the process continues without
support fuel (other than the coffin).
