Hello

While I am in communication with a number of people on both the stove list
and the terra preta lists
independently I am in the much the same situation as Mr. De Haan. I am very
much in the market
for both various rocket stoves and TLUD units for purchase for both
experimentation and daily use. While many seem to be working on various
designs, There seems to little or nothing actually available. I send several
messages to the Vesto site without response. I sent messages to Tom Reed's
sight without response. This unit looks to be way too small but might be
application as a demonstrator for school children to introduce the concept
of TLUDS and initiate the idea of charcoal being incorporated into garden
soils.

I would very much like to hear from people who have actual working units of
different types of TLUDs
available for sale commecially. I am also interested in materials for
making rocket stoves. We have no clay
or metals here. Coral rock and sands from clacarious algae and foraminifera
are the basis of our soils.
This stuff is completly friable and useless even as cement relative to
cooking. Imported ceramic,
Cast iron of maybe stainless steel would be the only real option for
improved rocket stoves here.

Thanks anyone for any hard information on source what ever..
