Dear Tom

I used his basic layout to make the downdraft coal stove in JHB in 2004.
The significant advantage with it is that it can be refuelled, and for all
intents and purposes, it is a gasifier. Sealing it to make it burn the gas
in an adjacent location is the main difference between a BLDD and the Vesto
Coal Stove.

>Downdrafts and tall stacks remind me of Peter Verhaart's work at Eindhoven

Regards
Crispin
