[Stoves] Hand Crank Dynamo for Fanned Stove?

Dear Jeff and All:

I hope someone can enlighten me.

I bought one of the Harbor Freight Hand Crank generators and it might
very well power the WoodGas stove. However, Ihave also bought a number
of solar generators and they generate more than enough power to operate
our stove. There are a number of different kinds, mostly for LED lights
and very cheap.

What is wrong with the fan-battery-solar charger that everyone seems
keen on replacing with more expensive alternatives?
