Dear Stovers, (and to my wife who can forward this to the relatives)
The Science Channel, which is part of the Discovery Channel group, has a series
about "Invention Nation." See listings at:
http://science.discovery.com/fansites/invention-nation/episodes.html
Listing saying "gasification" will be on Monday 17 Dec, listed as 10 PM but
probably that is Eastern time zone.
I was told that the episodes have been cut from 60 minutes to 30 min for each
week, so each invention's coverage is very short. This episode will focus for
about 6 minutes on the TLUD gasifiers, specifically showing Paul Anderson's
"Junto B" variation (See Anderson and Reed 2004 publication) of Reed's woodgas
campstove. There will also be a mention of the other gasifier technology
developed by Anderson and Wever of Chip Energy, which wss the primary reason
for the interview and filming back in August.
I will see it after I get back from India on 20 Dec.
I heard that Larry Winiarski Jr. was in an earlier episode with his solar energy
work.
Paul
