Dear Dr Phil
Many thanks for that. The CO/ CO2 level in the Korean briquettes in the
Korean "303" stove is about 1.5 to 2% in the later hours of the burn. I
take this to be good enough for household use. I will pass along some
photos later when I ever get out of this town. (I have been trying since
Tuesday.)
The briquettes are about 16 cm across, same in height, and weigh 3 kg. They
burn out to a rigid 1 kg. The number of holes is 23, about 16mm diameter.
The combustion takes place inside the holes - very hot and really a
reasonable burn.
The other briquettes I consider to be the "Chinese Briquettes" which are
smaller and far poor in combustion qualities.
The local coal here is <0.5% sulphur.
Do you recommend anything in particular I should look for in the emissions?
Thanks
Crispin
