Given the choice of inhaling carcinogenic particles that may preserve
the roof or treating the roof against rot with a product of proven
efficacy and little adverse affect on humans I'd opt for a targeted
use of the insecticide and a preservative.
What I wouldn't advocate is the return to area fogging uncontrolled
use of the persistant chemical.
