This might be a good way to deal with Malaria, but this is a side issue on
the Stoves List. The issues here are those of stove efficiency, IAP, etc.

If we enlarge the problem of Third World Living to include these issues,
then the problem becomes hugely larger, and more difficult to start working
on toward a solution. The problem of IAP is real, it is significant, and
there are known measurements from many credible sources relating to its
proven significance. Issues such as rotting roofs, and the proliferation of
creepy crawlies when chimneys or exhaust hoods installed, are anecdotal,
with no known scientific or factual information on the circumstances
involved when they might have occurred.

On the other hand:
1: It is a fact that a stove with a chimney can be made to work more
efficicently than a stove that does not have a chimney.

2: It is a fact that exhaust hoods and chimneys can reduce the hazards of
IAP by 1 or more orders of magnitude, or perhaps even eliminate it entirely.

Best wishes,

Kevin
