GPL is hardly likely to be an infringement concern of stovers !
The GPL makes software "free as in speech", not "free as in beer", as 
one of the movements founders put it. You can use and modify GPL 
software for your own purposes, but you cannot pass that modified 
software on, for free or otherwise, unless you ALSO make a copy of the 
source code available.
