Steve,
I think I now understand it. The answer is 25 for MCdry meaning 100
grams dry wood has added to it 25 grams water for a total weight of 125
grams and 25 mls water in 125 grams = 20% moisture. Its the term
'percent moisture on a dry weight basis' that has me confused. We call
it 'percent water retained'. and thats not much better.
So on to better things...
Thanks
Frank
