[Stoves] Traditonal Charcola Making Process / retort

Again, I do not need a kiln with a 3.5 kw rating, I need a total of 3.5 KWH of heat to fire a stove.

The kiln power will depend on how many stoves are in it.

Thanks
Crispin

Jeff,

I'm willing to bet that you come up with the same result: 5 kg/hr fuel ->7kW
gas + 25 kW char.

So, what yields have you had with the gas-of-fire: kg fuel in ->kg char out
+ (gas temp x specific heat x gas flow)?

What heat rating would you give your gas-of-fire in fuel consumed or heat
out?

If you built a homemade kiln (like the ones Manny Hernandez has shown us at
ETHOS) could you maintain the temperatures Crispin needs?

Paul can bring a TLUD designed for kiln firing to Stoves camp in July. :-)
