Hello Tom,

Hope to see you at Stove Camp. Nordica and Chris Roden will be doing more
global warming studies! We are thinking that we might amend our prize to
include lowest global warming emissions, too.

Larry built a huge gasifier that ran white hot in Calusa, California twenty
years ago. It burned cut up tires. It made steam that turned a generator
mounted on a railroad car. Something like this would certainly get to 1300C.
However, as we know, the real world has trouble keeping normal kilns
working. Temperatures in brick kilns in Mexico and Central America were
around 950C.
