[Stoves] Malot-blower

Paul,
You misunderstood me. My Malot-blower is created, to blow only in _one
direction_! That is the advance, you _need_ by a bow-driven fan for normal
use. It does never change blow-direction, as Andrew (AJH) sees clearly and
has corrected.- Thanks Andrew, for putting into clear words.-
The bow, I used, was too simple to put on photo:
Just a thin (8mm diameter) bamboo stick, 80 cm long, with a simple not too
thick (but not too thin) thread, which makes a "fiddle"-length of 70cm. The
thread was a natural fibre, no nylon, to get e better grip.
That is all.
I should mention, that it is useful, to make the bow-near bearing so, that
you can turn the bow-cord easily once round the shaft, that it can drive by
friction. Otherwise you must hook-out the cord on one end of the bow, to
manage that.
But with a hook and eye on the had-far end of the bow that would work as
well.
Paul, I am pleased to hear that a 30 second blow or up to 2 minutes will
work with the T-LUD. That can easily be reached with the Malot-blower.
Furthermore, I think if the gained blow is not strong enough, the
Malot-blower can be built as a two- or three-step- blower in series onto the
same shaft. (with the needed septa in the house)
Happy "fiddeling"!
Martin
