Funny thing, I was visiting a museum this morning with my kids and saw 
a model of an old pipe organ being demonstrated.  There was a single
action hand operated bellows that fed air to a weighted bellows above it
which then fed air to the organ in a steady stream.  Same principle as a
bagpipe, I suppose. [please keep any bagpipe and organ jokes relevant to
the subject and appropriate for a mixed audience]
