[Stoves] charcola from clay

Thought you might be interested that the main news item on the TV in Madagascar today was the making of "charcoal" from clay mixed with some biomass materials (probably waste from the dump I think). It was shown with them mixing and extruding it like sausages to then dry out.
No burning at all in production.
They said it would decrease the cutting of forests, although where we live it is mainly coppiced Eucalyptus trees that are used to make charcoal, and they regrow very quickly. But other areas have severe problems with deforestation.
