Maybe but I think we're mixing up convection with sheer massflow.
Convection is the way you're trying to transfer the heat from the
electric elements to the stove body at present, the atmosphere of the
kiln is the heat transfer medium. You're already finding it lacking
for a number of reasons.

Not in my opinion, an electric fan oven beats them hands down for
consistent results on all the shelves.
