Dear Chris

One secret to the calculation is the particulate emission.  Yes you are not
burning things to CO2 but as Tami Bond can calculate for you, the
particulate emission is also worth something as a greenhouse gas equivalent.

Particulates are about 630 times as strong a greenhouse product as CO2 per
kilogramme, however they have a shorter life.

Thus you can calculate not the CO2, but the total CO2 equivalent of all the
emissions.

You will find the calculation heavily in your favour.
