Dear Crispin,
Thank you, I am giving certain clarifications on the questions raised on
http://e-smokeburnerstove.blogspot.com/
Crispin: As far as I see there is nothing between the fuel chamber and the
cabinet so
the metal will be pre-heating the air (all of it) correct? That is a good
idea because it keeps the metal cool.
A: Yes
Crispin: I wondered if the flames I see at the top are always there. What I
mean by
that is, does the vertical position of the flames change much as the fuel
level drops?
A: Although in the initial stages for few minutes the vertical position of
the flames appear high, later the medium flames remain almost same through
out and finally become very low and only embers will be seen at the end.
Crispin: Although the pictures speak for themselves, I just want to confirm
that the
closer plate over the unused section is there to block air flow, and is
heavy enough not to lift up.
A: Yes it is the only heavier part and rest of the stove is made with thin
gauge.
Crispin: I am interested to know what happens if you turn off one fan with
both the
'elements' burning.
A: Some of the air pumped by one fan is escaping through the second fan, the
air pressure is dropping and so the peformance of two stoves dropping.
I think my explanations are very brief.
