A list of the ARTI stoves including the Sampada can be found on the ARTI
site:

AD, Where can we see a picture of the Sampada?
Thanks

Paul's lament about the propagation of T-Lud not being supported aby any
funding agency is not quite correct. His Champion stove is one of the stoves
that we are trying to propagate in India through Shell Foundation funding.
Unfortunately, there are not many takers for it because it is too tall. The
users also do not like the practice of removing the fuel holder once every
20 minutes and substituting it with another fuel holder containing unburnt
fuel. Our own Sampada stove works on similar lines, in that wood chips are
first pyrolysed and then provided with secondary air to burn the pyrolysis
gas completely. Sampada has no moving parts. It is also a bit too tall for
the Indian housewives, but it can be let into the ground to any desirable
depth. Also its cost is quite low, about US$12. As a result, it is selling
quite well. Another advantage of Sampada stove is that wood chips are added
to it intermittantly from above, so that the housewife can complete her
cooking without any break. But because of this mode of operation, it cannot
strictly be called a T-LUD stove. We now also have a cement model of
Sampada.
