Forest dry woodchip = 17 MJ/kg  (www.woodgas.com)
75% gasifier eff. = 17 x 75% = 12.75 MJ/kg

    *******************

gas to charcoal ratio per kg wood

gas = 12.75 MJ x 75% = 9.56 MJ/kg [of wood]
charcoal = 12.75 MJ x 25% = 3.19 MJ/kg [of wood]

    *******************

1kW = 3.6 MJ
7kW = 7 x 3.6 = 25.2 MJ per hour per stove

    *******************

25.2 MJ / 9.56 MJ/kg = 2.64 kg of wood per hour
18 hours = 18 x 2.64 = 47.52 kg

2.64kg x 3.19 MJ = 8.42 MJ of charcoal per hour
18 hours = 18 x 8.42 =  151.56 MJ of charcoal per 18 hours

:) Did I pass? (have no idea what I’m doing) :)
