2.  At http://terrapreta.bioenergylists.org/?q=about  it is easy to use the 
second "button" to sign up (and/or get off) this list and to pick the 
frequency of delivery.  Tom has set up archives at this site that are as 
good as exist anywhere - and plenty of leads to other sources of information 
(which are still pretty sparse).

3.  Thanks to AD for taking this first step.  I'd love to hear from more 
stovers.
