Hi,

Are the two stages: "Make gases" and "Burn gases"?

Two basic ways to "make gases".
     1.  Drive off the volatiles (pyrolysis, either with flame or without)
     2.  Make solid carbon (call it char) into gases.

Which or both of the above ways to make gases are you wanting to do?  
And do you
want them to be separate from each other or intermingled?
