Andrew,
SNIP: Could you let me have the actual dimensions of
the cans too ?
Sure, The larger one has the following dimensions
Bucket D:11", H: 14"
Combustion Chamber D:6", H:11"
Heat Shield D:8.5", H:12"
Bottom Heat Shield 7"x7" with corner bent down
Inlet D:4"
Heat shield gap net of bottom heat shield is about an inch.
This is the first time I have had a tape on this stove. I built it all by
eye as any tincanium should be built so while it is great to have the
dimensions for purposes of getting the drawing right, don't get too hung up
on adhering to them. The key dimensions are the placement of the primary
and secondary air holes and I still can't tell if I have them proportioned
correctly.
The smaller paint can stove has the following dimensions:
One Gallon Paint Can D:6.5", H: 8"
One quart Combustion Chamber D:4", H:5"
Heat Shield D:5", H:6"
Bottom Heat Shield 5"x5"" with corner bent down
Inlet D:3"
