Just try Googling ammonia straw. You will come up with 500 000 references.
It is a very well know cattle feed supplement, and a significant offtake of
ammonia (if you are in the ammonia business)

Injecting ammonia makes sense, injecting nitrogen sounds just as sensible as
filling your tyres with it.
