I'm afraid it's almost impossible to answer,
because you got so much different kinds of flames,
it not only depends on the fuel kind.
- You've got undisturbed or disturbed flames,
- Laminar, stratified, or turbulent flow flames,
- Some oil fired boilers have a spiral ( vortex) shaped flame.
- How fast is the ( primary, secondary and tertiary) air blown in?
With combusted gas recirculation or not?
- How rich is the oxygen/fuel ratio?
- Fuel oil properties: temp. , viscosity, flashpoint. And droplet size.
- If the fuel is a gas at the entrance of the burner, is it premixed,
and is the air pre heated?
- which flame speed do you need the axial or radial flame speed?
... So many parameters that can alter or influence the flame speed,
it's gonna be hard to find useful tables.
