Dear Paul and All:
I recommend that we all watch the movie in Paul's essay on the DAXU stove.

It is our dream come true. It shows what a dedicated government program
and vision can do relative to the feeble efforts of underfunded
organizations. So China has pulled way ahead of the rest of the world
both in the technology of woodgas stoves and the production. Check out
those thousands of stoves in production.
In particular, notice the widescale production and use of corn stover
briquettes.

While this stove may be good for China, the principles of TLUD need to
be adapted to each country, its cooking needs and its production
abilities. We are producing a "TLUD Research Stove Kit" for those who
want to experiment.
Yours truly,
TOM REED THE BIOMASS ENERGY FOUNDATION
