Tom,
You forgot to put the smilie face :-)) after saying that I get grumpy. :-))
I read your message one minute after sending my long message about
stove testing
and the Stove Camp experiences. MAYBE that message will seem like I am
grumpy,
but I certainly am not.
And all who know Dean also know that he is mature and able to handle
the issues
and any flack. In political terms, he represents the "front runner" in the
campaign to elect "best stove". I believe the Rockets, via Shell assistance,
are among the best funded stoves. I do not feel sorry for Dean. I wish him
the best for the future. But I also have my "stove hat" in the ring and the
campaign continues. I have not detected any dirty politics or blackballing of
Dean or Rockets or anyone or any stove. But when you are a "front-runner" and
also control much of the facilities to conduct stove emissions testing, many
issues are likely to be raised and be clarified.
We do need to face some realities. We Stovers really have some issues to
discuss and resolve.
No, I am not grumpy. (But I give so much detail that "longwinded"
might be
appropriate. :-)) )
So, onwards with the discussion of the issues.
Paul
