[Stoves] Charcoal Stoves

Hi Stovers,
Accept for the moment that most lump charcoal (not briquets) are more or
less, probably less, uniform world wide and therefore the differences would
be in the design of the stove and not the fuel. Accept further that the
temperatures at which charcoal is produced can vary greatly and the species
of wood used to convernt into also varies greatly.
The question for which I earnestly seek your inputs is: What are the top
three or five qualities or characteristics would like to see in a "more or
less ideal" charcoal stove (small, medium and large sizes of the same basic
design) of those being produced/use in your country or region? Repeat -- "in
your country or region."
Two sets of answers needed -- one from the point of view of a
designer/scientist and the other from the point of view of a regular user.
You can be as specific or broad as you wish in your answers.
I wont know if this question makes sense until I see some of the answers.
But then, I am not afraid to ask possibly "stupid" questions. The answers
will definitely increase my knowledge by more than 100%.
Thank you in advance for your inputs.
Sincerely,
Cornelio
