I had asked Dr. Reddy to prepare these posters for display at ETHOS.
Unfortunately I was unable to attend or display them there. They show the
evolution of a series of stoves developed by Dr. Reddy since 2006 and in use
in more than 300 homes. The work represents an effective use of the internet
in interactively developing stoves as he has adapted and developed concepts
and tested them on the web and in the homes. He has used the stoves and
terra preta lists and web sites and his own many blog sites to develop and
share these ideas. His sites are getting more than 200 visits per day. 

 

Many others are using various internet tools, especially video.  Some of the
more recently active are Charlie Sellers, Dean Still, Crispin
Pemberton-Pigott, Lanny Henson, Paul Anderson/Alexis Belonio, David
Whitfield and Robert Flanagan. It's fun to view the tangible results of
these collective endeavors in the homes and villages. 

 

As a bridge to this communication we have seen a large increase this year at
www.bioenergylists.org Web visits are about 300,000 per year from 194
countries and more information is being downloaded each year. Content on the
site has increased from megabytes to gigabytes.
