Stovers
Feel like I am beating a dead horse but here is more info regarding
these type of semi-conductors sensors. No need to buy a CO, H and CH4
sensors. Just one and call it 'combustible gases'
IMO. and no need to put 'Dr' in front of my name. I tried but never got
close. : )

Dear Dr. Shields,
My colleagues inform me that you have seen a cross-sensitivity between
CH4 and CO when using our sensors. The sensors do, indeed, have a
degree of cross sensitivity, since all SnO semi-conductor sensors will
detect, to differing degrees depending on sensor type and sensor
temperature, various oxidisable gases. Where possible, we try to avoid
provision of sensors for applications in which the partial pressure of
more than one detectable gas is relatively high, or the cross
sensitivity of the sensor for each gas is equivalent. Often, sensors
can be chosen with a ten fold specificity for a particularly gas.
Please let me know if I can inform you further.
Best regards,
Steve
