[Stoves] Power output

Dear Steve
I would put a modest flame based stove at 3-4 KW on 'high'.
Let's say 4 KW.
For an institutional Rocket or Lion stove it is a 15 KW device with a cost
of about $150 so $10 per KW. For a 5 year life (at least) that is $2 per
KW-year.
For a big coal-fired station, South Africa is talking about ZARands 20-25
billion for a new one (which they need). That is over $3 billion but I don't
know the output - can't even guess. J Davies, perhaps??
At $1200/40 years = $30 per KW-year
A well made (not even mass produced) small stove is a pretty good deal then.
Mass produced it might be 40 times cheaper instead of 15.
In the case of small coal fired space heating I predict the future is fan
stoves generating their own power.
Best regards
