Yes to the typo.

I am not sure I want to get into the nomenclature. Some stoves change part
way through the burn.

The lighting procedure I described for the BLDD burner in Ulaanbaatar
actually involves two ignitions and both of them are top lit down draft
until the coke bed is established!  Then as more fuel is added on top it is
a BLDD from then on.

We should put more effort into making better stoves and less on names...
