Dear Tom (R)

Your thumb rule for biomass calculations are _top_ brillant!
Things/ideas like that are important to be in minds, to control computerized
false calculations.

Fasciated by your explanation I tried to go the logical and "mathematical"
path.

You wrote:

So*3CH2O + 2 CH = C5H8O3 ==> CH1.4O0.6*

I did not get the same result. My calculation differs in the "H"-amount only
14,28%, not important for thumb-controle.
But beeing not accustomed with such things I want to explain my calculation
step by step:
It is the same up to: C5 H8 O3
Then I get:
(C) 5 divided by (C) 5 = 1 C
(H) 8 divided by (C) 5 = 1.6 H (instead of 1.4)
(O) 3 divided by (C) 5 = 0.6 O

Your statement: "Quod Errat Demonstrandum, QED."
Fine and special humor, the two "r"s in errat!!
I didn't see that by reading it the first time.
-Or is it so funny by accident (accidents) on the keys?

By the way:
Your Camping-stove is for _me_ measure for a real good stove!
I appreciate always very much your founded postings.

Regards and best wishes for 2008

Martin
