After Paul Anderson asked for human powered electricity sources I responded
that it might not be possible - then I started investigating. If you choose
the right flashlight (preferably very durable) then you can get the right
amount of power - pricey, but possible. Changing the voltage is a trivial
electronic thing. I wrote this up also for an EWB project where we need
light for a medical instrument. Hope that it meets the group goals.
See you all at ETHOS next week in Seattle,
Charlie
