These are lumber dry kilns built from shipping containers. 7 cords in 6 days
looks like 560 ft3 cordwood at 250,000 Btuh.
I don't think I have seen anyone develop drying curves for firewood in a
batch dry kiln except USFS

The concept could be adapted to a farm or village scale dryer that might
also be used for vegetables, etc. I wonder if Reg Preston or others working
with small gasifiers have considered powering dryer fans. The circulating
fans are pretty low power.

Subject: [Stoves] Kilning firewood
I am working on a gasification project in the UK. We need to find a use for
the "waste" heat (circa 0.7 MWth of erxhaust gases @450C)
Kilning firewood at a commercial scale (100 wet tonnes week in 2 batches?)
has been suggested. Any ideas as to kiln design?
