What's awful?

It looks like the author is saying at 12% MC you get 100% of the possible
amount of charcoal from this retort, at 15% MC 93% of the charcoal. I
think the chart should end at 60% MC. One can not have wood at 100% MC so
maybe it is a type-o or I am missing something.
