Adam,

Join the crowd of frustrated inventors; I learned that one way around
this problem of trying to reach the market with your innovation is to
publish plans for your technology and sell them online.

You organize payment through Pay Pal or any of several others online
payment management services.
Then like a good global citizen, and unlike the former "caveat
emptor", sales operations online which offer no free after sale
service and disappear once the sale is made, you do the opposite: You
actually and proactively backstop those who need it online...and you
actively link those who are actually using the technology, to those
interested in it..'Play it forward'-- electronically, Do not invent:
Outvent / Covent. Crazy idea eh ? try it and see what happens.

It a good and economically viable way to go because you are dealing
with those who need your assistance directly. You are using your
skills to the optimum.
You will then be having a truly, "nice day", believe me.
