Dear Andrew P
I can report positively on the introduction in Maputo of a processed
paper+charcoal dust briquette. This was something started by Paul Anderson
with some New Dawn Engineering equipment.
The acceptance of the fuel was immediate even though it is completely unlike
traditional charcoaled wood.
Apolinario made about 5 or 8 tons of the briquettes in a fairly short time,
collecting waste charcoal from the vendors in Maputo.
It appears urban users were quick to adopt the fuel.
Regards
Crispin
