List members should be aware of the new 12KW  'Direct Combustion' TLUD 
Gasifier stove invented by frequent contributor here Dr. Tom Reed.

Most of you are probably already familliar with Dr. Reed's Woodgas Stove 
design and the Woodgas Camp Stove introduced about 3 years ago.  This is the 
only small scale gasifier in production on the market for under $100 that I 
am aware of.

The Woodgas Camp Stove has a bigger brother now called the Woodgas Camp 
Stove XL.  And the 1'st production model is now called the LE.

The XL has a couple KW greater output and a considerably longer (about 2x) 
burn duration for a single fuel charge as the LE model and is still under

The Woodgas Stove is very useful as a study tool for Academics and students
of gasification science and is invaluable as a demo for gasification and fuel testing 
and study.

continuously by carefully adding fuel every couple minutes)
