Your post was well snipped Crispin, I was beginning to worry about
some overlong quotes from our wealthier brethren.
I believe there is still a good case for " refining" a biomass fuel
and Richard's simple densification is a case in point, without it it
is difficult to stuff enough fuel into a reasonably sized cook stove
and maintain good air passages, if post briquetting torrefaction at a
centralised site makes for cleaner combustion in a cheap small stove
then it looks good to me.
