Why not make your own, using a superventilated oven (a toaster oven out back of the house) or a more primitive outside alternative? Any of our developing world stoves plus a box oven and a thermocouple (and patience) should do it - what says that its done, just the temperature reached? Any difference in appearance, plus no moisture re-uptake?

None that I know of.
You would think that any of the carbonizing companies with pilot facilities
could produce samples for market development.

A biomass pelletizing or briquetting company should rent a Wyssmont
Turbodryer and go into production. http://www.wyssmont.com/rentals.html I
don't know the capacity of their K size Turbodryer that is available for
rental.
